考中如果until成为正确项的时候，把“直到”的意思翻到句子中是翻译不通的；而且，以下句为例：The baby won't stop crying until his mother tells him a story. 是译作“小孩儿不会停止哭泣直到他妈给他讲个故事”，还是“直到他妈给他讲故事，孩子才停止哭泣”？这也是让很多人头大的问题。 综上所述，给出正解：无论肯定句还是否定句，until的意思都是“过则反主”，即“过了从句所发生的动作后，则发生与主句相反的动作”。 上句正解：过了他妈给他讲故事这个动作时间，小孩儿就停止哭泣了，但主句说不会停哭，所以选择until。 6、as soon as: 这个连词词组就比较简单，译为“一……就……”，没啥技术含量，而且历年真题中一定与as long as（只要）和as far as（就……而言）同时出现在选项中。 另外，做状语从句的题目时，切忌直接将连词的意思逐个带回题从句是高中最重要的语法点，没有“之一”。对于从句的考察贯穿高考英语目中翻译，因为往往被认为是带入翻译最通顺的选项，其实是强干扰项，这同样也是绝大多数人选错的原因。相反的，拿到题目后第一时间要做的是通过翻译设空点前后的主从句，找出两者之间的内在逻辑关系（因果、时间等），从而选择表示相应的逻辑的连词或连词词组。
