Sharks are completely [w]colour-blind[/w] and only see things clearly if they are mostly light or dark, scientists have claimed. In a breakthrough that could prove hugely beneficial to divers navigating shark-filled waters, scientists found that the [w]predator[/w] - like dolphins, [w=seal]seals[/w] and whales - is unable to distinguish between colours. The U.S. Navy has conducted tests that suggested sharks were able to see yellow most clearly. The tests had been to see what would be the best colour for the [w=lifejacket]lifejackets[/w] that pilots wear in case they have to [w]eject[/w] and [w]splash[/w] down in the ocean. Professor Hart said it was more the high contrast of yellow, not the colour itself, that would increase the [w]visibility[/w] for sharks. He said: 'It may be possible to design swimming [w]attire[/w] and surf craft that have a lower visual contrast to sharks and are therefore less attractive to them.' 雅思阅读长句子如何理解
要去分析，要不是碰到答案所在。 2、牵涉到了答案的长句，分析时要先刨除定语从句，各种插入语，现在分词短语以及过去分词短语等这些成分，留下主干部分，由于剩下的地方都起补充说明和修饰的作用，因此长难句从作者的角度而言是一种表达上的修辞方式，从我们做题来说，考察的是提取主要信息的能力。 3、有的题目的方法需要的是观察首句或末句，但考生们要明确的是，英文里通常句号的出现根本不频繁，所以不用执着地通过一个句号来判断一句话的结束，更多时间里事实上要的是寻找一个完整的意群(sense group)， 好像一个句子在一半时都可能有一个逗号，到后面是通过which引导的非限制型定语从句，此时大家是能够看见原来的逗号为止。所以，牢固的语法基础在雅思阅读中是必不可少的。 若大家发现这一篇文章有了非常多的人名出现，当翻看后面题型时，也许就会
