《美国偶像》第九季的比赛即将与1月拉开帷幕。

福克斯台宣布《美偶》会在2010年一月12及13日连续两天上演第九季的首映集，而第八季比赛最终由黑马Kris Allen夺冠、人气王Adam Lambert屈居亚军。

今年《美国偶像》的最大看点是评委的大变动，Paula Abdul的常规评委坐席由名嘴Ellen DeGeneres取代，搞笑女Eellen对决毒舌男Simon一定大有看头。而客座评委席上也将有Katy Perry、辣妹维多利亚等等明星大腕轮番登场。

 LOS ANGELES  — "American Idol" will kick off its ninth year with a two-night season premiere in January.

Fox announced Tuesday that the hit singing contest, which last year produced a battle between winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert, will return Tuesday, Jan. 12, and Wednesday, Jan. 13.

This year's big change: Paula Abdul is out as judge and Ellen DeGeneres is in.
