世博网8月4日消息：日前，中国第一高楼——上海环球金融中心28楼展示中心（presentation gallery）出现了一位新朋友，上海世博会吉祥物海宝在这里正式“安家落户”。在新设的“中国2010年上海世博会宣传和展示专区”里，海宝微笑着迎接参观者。来环球金融中心的市民可以通过图片介绍了解世博会，同时还可随时取阅设在专区内海宝资料架上的世博宣传品。

上海世博局有关负责人表示，随着世博会筹办工作的不断推进，世博会沟通推介工作在不断深入和拓展。“除了传统的招风旗、墙体和楼顶广告、立柱广告、户外大屏幕、灯箱外，我们在宣传工作上力求创新，希望通过不同方式让民众进一步了解世博会。”

A statue of World Expo 2010 mascot Haibao was unveiled at Shanghai World Financial Center in Pudong New Area.

The skyscraper is the tallest on the Chinese mainland at a height of 492 meters.

Promotional materials about the 2010 event are also available in the presentation gallery on the 28th floor of the center as the organizer steps up promotion efforts.
