比较常见，难度不大。 段落语义虽容易理解，但考生要切忌word by word 的直译。比如段落多次出现feel这个单词，如果全部翻译成“感觉”，就显得呆板，不切文意。考生翻译的时候，要根据语境进行调整。如“it helps you sleep better and feel more relaxed.”中的feel可淡化，将relaxed从形容词转译为动词，译为“放松自己”。“you will feel stronger”中的feel可译为“发现”。另外，“Your heart pumps more oxygen-filled blood to all parts of your body with each beat.”这句如果直译的话，会造成句子意群过多，长度过长，不符合汉语的表达习惯，所以要注意切分句子，化长句会小句。本句中暗含着两层意思，一个是血液的含氧量会增加，另一个是，心脏每次向身体各部分输送的血流量会增多。纵观该段落，只要考生在平时多关注生活常识，对此类文章多加练习，一定会得到不错的分数。
